March 13, 2020
The National Orange Show announces a Call for Entries for its 70th Annual All-California Juried Art Exhibit. All artwork including painting, drawing, pastel, mixed media, collage, photography, and sculpture are welcome. The deadline to submit is March 13th, 2020.
Timeline:
• Notification of Acceptance: March 30.
• Entry Drop Off: April 10 and 11 from 9am-4:30pm.
Accepted work to be dropped off at:
689 South “E” Street
San Bernardino, CA 92408
• Shipped works must be prepaid and arrive by USPS,
FedEx, or UPS by April 10.
• Artist’s Reception: Tuesday, April 21 from 6pm-9pm.
• Exhibition: April 22-26 (During the NOS Fair).
• Entry Pick Up: May 1 and 2 from 9am-4:30pm.

2019 Open Art Calling
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists residing in Southern California.
AWARDS
1st: $500, 2nd: $300, 3rd: $200 - Honorable Mentions: 2 at $50 each
MEDIUMS ALLOWED
All two-dimensional works including painting, drawing, pastel, mixed media, collage, and photography.
Sculptures 50lbs and under, not to exceed 5ft in any direction.
Please no craft or functional art.
ARTWORK CRITERIA
All submitted work must be completed within the past five years.
Works of art must not have been shown previously in SBAA exhibits.
Work submitted must be entrant’s original work. (Copied or copyrighted work will not be accepted.)
Artwork (including frame) must be no larger than 5ft in any direction.
Artwork must be dry, securely framed, and securely wired. No saw tooth hangers allowed.
All artwork must be labeled with the Artist’s name and address, plus the artwork title on the back of all entries.
Sculptural wall pieces must be suitable mounted for gallery exhibition.
Sculptural works must not exceed 50lbs or 5ft in any direction.
Any art that requires special installation must be cleared with the SBAA staff.
Prices submitted on entry form may not be changed.
No unfinished work will be accepted.
A 25% commission of all sales will go to the National Orange Show.

San Bernardino Art Association will not be held responsible for any damages to submissions.
ENTRY INFORMATION
FREE for current SBAA members and a non-refundable fee of $25 for non-members for two entries.
No more than two entries per artist.
If you're a current SBAA Member, you were emailed a discount code to use on check out that will bring the total to $0.
If you did not receive this code, please email us at sbartassociation@gmail.com.
All entry fees must be electronic payments through this site.
Entries will be judged based on digital images submitted in JPG or PDF format.
Digital images to be no smaller than 640 pixels wide. Please name your files with the artwork's Title.
IMPORTANT DATES
Entry Deadline is July 1
Notification of Acceptance by email will be sent out by July 12
Art Drop Off will be on July 26 and 27 from 9am - 4pm
Artist’s Reception will be on August 9 from 6pm - 9pm
Art Pickup will be on September 6 and 7 from 9am - 4pm

Copy Of -Thirty Years Later

A Group Show of twelve artists that attended CalArts some thirty or so years ago. Some have worked with one another others just known by name or in passing while others became lifelong or best friends.
The show is to instill camaraderie even when separated by time, distance and circumstance.
I am glad that my schoolmates welcomed the invitation to show here in San Bernardino California.

"Awaken" Exhibit
The San Bernardino Art Association invites all women who residing in California to participate in our 2019 women “Awaken” exhibit. All artwork including painting, drawing, pastel, mixed media, collage, photography, sculpture and poetry are welcome. The deadline to submit is April 26 by midnight, any submissions received by this date will automatic are on the exhibit. Remember space is limited.
Monetary prizes will be awarded for First ($300), Second ($200), Third ($100),
and two Honorable Mentions ($50 each).
Submit up to two pieces for $25, open to both members and non-members!
Entry is Free for current SBAA members! Timeline of Events: Deadline to Submit Artwork: April 26, 2019 / Artwork Drop-off:May 24 - 25th, 2019 9am to 4pm / Artist Reception: June 7, 2019; 6pm to 9pm
